Texconv is a old but trusty tool to convert .png files into .dtex (some say .dtx) format.

Installation
Tested on Linux Mint (2020-01-16)
sudo apt install qt5-default qtbase5-dev
git clone https://github.com/tvspelsfreak/texconv
cd texconv
qmake
make
